Ramavarma club at Kollam can proudly boast of a rich and vibrant existence of 136 years. It is a second home to its members. It caters to the needs of the members and guests. As the club grew through the years one century and thirty six years, there was united efforts among members to increase facilities for members and guests to keep in pace with its infrastructure growth.

His Highness Sreemoolam Thirunal Ramavarma

Our Club which was originally known as Rama Varma Memorial Association was gifted by his highness the late Sree Moolam Thirunal Rama Varma Maharaja who ruled the Indian State of Travancore between 1885 and 1924.

This Club was started in the year 1888 at Thevally in Kollam. It is one of the oldest clubs in Kerala and has a unique and enviable place in the annals of Kollam.

The Club Day is celebrated on January 26th, the birthday of His Highness Sree Moolam Thirunal Ramavarma.

At present this club is an integral part of Kollam that defines the elite social life of the city. It has always been a meeting place of the prominent citizens of Kollam.
